Bart's WoodRat Mount
Bart in Canada has recently posted on the WoodRat Forum a description and some pictures of his version of a pseudo wall mount for his WoodRat. I rather like his idea and he has agreed to permit me to post the content here. The buttresses make for a stiff mounting board and I am sure that the basic design can form the basis for all manner of variation with regard to the holding method.
I would suggest that storage areas are provided with lids though as I suspect that they would quickly fill with wood dust!

"I
do not have wall space to mount my new Wood Rat so I had to devise a bench
mounted "wall". I happened to have a half sheet of 3/4 inch plywood on
hand so that determined the dimensions. It's a "quick and dirty" solution. (i.e.
glue and screws). The vertical "wall" is 36" wide by 17 1/4" high. The base is
10" wide. The vertical "buttresses" are 4" by 11 1/2". The front and back
supports are offset to allow for the screws. The "hanger" was positioned to
place the top of the Wood Rat even with the top of the "wall" and I cut a 4"
hole in the "wall" to accommodate the dust collection port. I had some scrap
pieces of 1/2" plywood which I used for the shelf and bit/cutter holder etc. I
also placed a second "hanger" on the wall to store the Wood Rat when not in use.
The table mount itself at 36"x10"x18" is easy to store when not in use. Hope
this is helpful."

Thanks Bart
